⚠️WARNING – SPRING TUNING REQUIRED
This kit includes multiple spring lengths.
You must select and install the same length spring on both sides. Do not mix spring types.
Select the spring that:
- Fully opens the boot
- Does not cause excessive resistance when closing
- Places no visible strain on ball studs or brackets
Do not force boot shut.
Incorrect spring selection or mixed installation may result in misalignment, structural damage, or premature failure.
Boot Alignment & Adjustment
In some cases, especially on older vehicles, installing upgraded struts may place additional force on the boot lid, which can cause slight misalignment. This is not usually a fault with the struts themselves and can often be resolved with a simple adjustment.
What to check:
-
Confirm your vehicle year, model, and number of doors to ensure compatibility.
-
The boot may need tightening and re-adjusting after installation.
-
There are two adjustment bolts on the inside headliner, as well as on the rear boot (visible from behind the vehicle).
-
With the standard struts removed, check the boot alignment and make adjustments as required.
If you are still experiencing issues after making these adjustments, please contact us with your vehicle details, and our technical team will be happy to assist further.
