Our pre-loved struts are on sale as they are not sellable at full price, this could be due to having paint problems, scuffs/damages etc.

They will work as intended to open your boot automatically. 

If you see your car model is not in stock, this means we currently do not have any 'pre-loved' struts available. You can either purchase our brand new struts on our website, alternatively if you do not want to pay for full price, please wait until they come back in stock on our pre-loved ranged.

If you purchase our pre-loved struts, please do not expect brand new struts. They are struts we cannot sell at full price & we would like to allow those who do not care about what it looks like, but enjoy what they do.

Remove OEM Tailgate Struts

Remove OEM Tailgate Struts

Support your tailgate open or ask someone to hold it for you while you remove your OEM gas struts. Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the metal clips, then pull the strut ball sockets away from the car.

Clean & Grease Ball Studs

Clean & Grease Ball Studs

Remove any dirt or debris from your ball studs and apply lithium grease from our store. This will help ensure the smooth opening of the boot.

Installation Of Emerald Struts

Installation Of Emerald Struts

Remove the four metal securing pins from our Emerald Struts. Insert one ball socket onto your car's ball stud until you hear a click. Repeat this for all four struts, then reinsert the metal securing pins you removed earlier.

Close Boot & Open

Close Boot & Open

You can now close the tailgate. There will be added pressure, which is normal. Once closed, hold down or click the unlock button twice on your key fob, and the boot will open automatically.
