These cameras seamlessly replace your stock license plate light cover, blending harmoniously with your vehicle's aesthetics. They mimic the size and shape of the existing license plate light while discreetly housing an integrated camera.

Voltage Requirements: The rear view camera system operates on a +12V system, ideally functioning between 13-15 volts to maintain stable image quality. Some vehicle models equipped with CANBUS may experience voltage drops on the reverse bulb power, often causing bulb-related warnings on the dashboard. For such cases, we offer a separate relay (available upon request) to boost the voltage. Please note that the relay is not included with the camera and must be purchased separately.

Installation Notes:

• When fitting to a factory head unit, the correct adapter is required. This unit comes with the MIB adapter.
• Fitting to a Golf MK5 may require some trimming of the area where the wiper motor attaches to the body.
• This part requires programming. If fitting to your factory system, you will need the correct connection for your radio, which any professional fitter should know.
