Emerald Struts: Company Updates & Behind-the-Scenes Insights

I hope this blog finds you well. I’m George Ottaway, the founder of Emerald Struts, and I wanted to take a moment to share some personal reflections and updates from the past few months. It’s been a whirlwind journey, and we couldn’t have come this far without your continued support.

Firstly, some exciting projects have taken shape recently. We’ve been expanding our offerings, introducing new models like the Volvo V40 struts, and we’re gearing up to launch electric struts for KIA and Cadillac vehicles. This expansion is something I’m particularly proud of, as we’re striving to bring more innovation and convenience to our amazing community of car enthusiasts.

Over August and September, we had the incredible opportunity to attend and showcase our products at several car shows. It was fantastic to meet so many of you in person, hear your stories, and see your enthusiasm for the industry we all love. These events were a huge success and a great reminder of the supportive community we’re part of.

To support our growing projects and improve our service, we’ve also welcomed new members to the Emerald Struts team. Increasing our staff has been a game changer, allowing us to manage the demand more efficiently and continue delivering high-quality products and experiences.

But, as with any growing business, there have been challenges too. We’ve been working hard on refining our processes, like adding custom-coloured springs made to order, which have become quite popular. It’s all about finding that balance between maintaining our quality and meeting demand – and we’re learning every day!

One major milestone for us was incorporating new features on our website, including the option for fitting appointments. I wanted to make sure that our service not only covers premium products but also a seamless experience for you. This is coming soon!

On a more personal note, these past months have brought some big changes. My girlfriend, who’s been helping me manage the business, is moving on to explore new opportunities. It’s been a tough transition, but it’s also made me appreciate even more how vital human connection and support are – both in work and in life.

Lastly, in our efforts to connect beyond sales, we’ve been having fun with our Facebook page, sharing car-related memes to give you a smile each day. It’s just a little way to brighten your feed and build a community that isn’t only about struts but about the shared passion we all have for our cars.
